Historical
visits.
The Department,
since a long time, has been taking students for historical visits,
which are mandatory for TYBA students. We also include the First
Year and Second Year students so that they also benefit from exposure
to historical tours and develop understanding for the subject.
Many of the
students graduating from the department of History have gone on
to do their post-graduation in History from the University of
Mumbai. They are pursuing careers in degree college teaching,
school teaching, research, and other careers in the corporate
sector for which the subject of History prepares them in the sense
that they have logical ability, good communication skills and
an understanding of the current scenario
