Smt Chandibai Himathmal Mansukhani College now has created its own name in the fields of Theatre activity. We bagged Prestigious Gangal Trophy for Theatre championship of the University of Mumbai for the year 2010-11 with Gold Medal in Mime, Mono Acting Gr C, Silver Medal in Skit Gr A & C, Best Actor (Mr Abhijeet Pawar, SYBA), Best Actress Award (Ms Trupti Katale, TYBA, Pol Sc) in the 43rd University Youth Festival.  College won Gold Medal in Smt CHMC is participating in INT One Act Play competition which happens to be the platform for the students in Cine & Television media since 2009.

College was selected for the finals of INT at its maiden entry in the competition in 2009. This year college ranked Third in the competition with Best Actress Award (Ms Purva Koushik, FYBA) and Two certificates for Best Acting in Male (Mr Abhijeet Pawar, SYBA) & Female(Ms Sneha Salavi, SYBA) categories. A group of more than 100 students Dr Neena Vinod (Chemistry), Dr Rashmi Deshpande (Physics), Prof Amey Samarth(Bio-Technology), Dr Dipesh Karamarkar (Geography) took great efforts and worked very hard, under guidance of Prof J S Ozarkar (then Vice Principal and Head, Dept of Marathi) and Prof Nitin Arekar (In-charge, Cultural Activities).

Principal Dr Bhavna Motwani enthusiastically provided all sorts of support, guidance and help to the Akshar, Theatre Group of CHMC for the success. Dr Padma Deshmukh, (Vice Principal), Prof Ritika Sachdev (Vice Principal), Prof S B Pawar (In-charge Vice Principal, Jr College) were the pillars behind the success. Inputs of Dr Milind Vaidya (Then In-charge Principal) were of utmost importance to the activity.
