Secretarial Practice and Office Management.:

Administration is the backbone of any organization. The efficient management of any unit is a key to its services. The main objectives of the course in Secretarial Practice and Office Management are to teach basic secretarial and managerial skills to students, enhance their correspondence and communication skills, to introduce students to modern methods of commercial correspondence. It also seeks to acquaint students with the current scenario and initiate them into the dynamic running of an office smoothly. This knowledge will not only open up new opportunities to students in various offices, both in rural and urban areas, it will also assist in focusing upon the importance of the role and functions of the Secretary in every set up leading to an improvement in the perceptions of the status and image of the Secretary.
