Tourism has emerged as one of the key industries in a globalised scenario, since it provides a historical and geographical interface, cultural exchange, economic advantage, and also promotes global peace and understanding.

Vocational courses in Travel and Tourism have been popular for more than a decade now, since there is tremendous employment potential for the young professionals in this field. At present there are no institutes in the neighborhood of Ulhasnagar that provide formal and Academic training in this burgeoning field. Our course in Travel and Tourism is being managed by the Department of Geography and Commerce, and it seeks to fill in this lacuna, and provide career openings to our students in this area.
